Ghostery in der Kritik
Juni 18th, 2013, 12:38 > da/Y\axJetzt hatte ich mich gerade mit dem Anti-Tracking- und Anti-Werbe-Plugin "Ghostery" arrangiert und dann sowas:
Der Vorwurf: Evidon, die Firma hinter dem Tool, sei Teil jenes Online-Werbe-Komplexes, vor dem sie die Nutzer schützen will. Ghostery arbeitet als Browser-Add-on, blockiert Trackingcodes und Webbugs von Werbevermarktern und erhöht nebenbei auch noch die Ladegeschwindigkeit von Webseiten. Evidon verkauft allerdings auch Daten von rund acht Millionen Ghostery-Nutzern, die die Daten-Sharing-Funktion des Programms aktiviert haben, an Werbevermarkter.

Wie meine Vorredner ja schon geschrieben haben, hier wirste gefragt ob du es machen willst oder nicht. Wenn man den Haken rein macht muss man sich nicht wundern. Wenns einem stört: Haken raus und fertig.
Klingt eher nach aus ner Mücke nen Elefanten machen um nen Werbeblocker zu verteufeln.
Ich dachte erst „Oh Gott, nein!“, aber stellte in den Einstellungen fest, dass ich das schon von Anfang an instinktiv ausgeschaltet hatte.
